For this position you will also perform activities within Vattenfall. Vattenfall is Europe's fifth largest generator of electricity and the largest supplier of heat. The company currently has operations in Denmark, Finland, Germany, United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Sweden. Vattenfall is active in all stages of the electricity value chain: generation, transmission, distribution and sales

Your responsibilities

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Functional responsible for a number of trading applications.
• Coordination and planning of further software development and releases.
• Contact person for the business and vendors.
• Following the Vattenfall Asset Optimisation and Trading ITIL process.
• Will be working in an international cross location environment.

Your profile

Hard skills:

• Masters Degree within a relevant area such as Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 2-3 years experience in development of bigger software systems with high demand on reliability.
• Any experience of working in an Energy or Financial environment with the focus of trading will be an advantage.
• Experience in technologies related to Java will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of agile software development processes and ITIL. 
• Fluent in Dutch and English (written & spoken).

Soft skills

• Analytical skills, seeing the whole and the details, with a structured way of working.
• Social skills. This role includes having active cooperation with the business and coordinate development and releases, taking ownership.
• Proactive and likes to take ownership.
• Team oriented.
